Synopsis

Cox Communications is one of the USA’s largest multi-service advanced communications companies with US broadband network operations and investments focused on cable programming, telecommunications and technology. It operates in one operating segment, broadband communications. Cox is involved in cable television under CoxCable, local and long distance telephone services under Cox Digital Telephone, high-speed Internet access under Cox@Home, Road Runner and Cox Express, advanced digital video programming services under Cox Digital Cable, and commercial voice and data services via Cox Business Services. Following the demise of Excite@Home, Cox was forced to transfer its high speed Internet customers from Excite@Home to its own network in February 2002.
