Telstra Country Wide (TCW) was formed in June 2000 – a business unit set up to ensure Telstra had a local presence in Australia’s main centres and many local communities. Following the success of the TCW model, the concept has been expanded to encompass an additional 10 geographic regions. The TCW division has 35 regional offices, led by area general managers working with the community to improve service and identify product solutions to meet local needs.
