Synopsis
In June 2000, U S West was acquired by Qwest, and its activities absorbed into that company. US West provides a full range of telecommunications services - including wireline, wireless PCS and data networking. At that time, the company split, and US West retained the 14-state telecommunications and directory publishing operations. During this period, US West received an unsolicited acquisition offer from Qwest Communications.Related Reports
